I just returned from Jazz at Lincoln Center's Band director's Academy where I learned a ton about directing jazz bands and teaching jazz concepts.
I am also taking an online class on new technologies for teaching.
And I took classical clarinet lessons from NC symphony clarinetist , Mike Chewvesky.
